Kenmore adopts official city flag
by Tom Traeger, Kenmore reporter
In a meeting that included both business and ceremony, the Kenmore City Council
took care of matters as the city settles into its official city status, as well
as adopting the official city flag. Kenmore now has an official flag thanks to
an official proclamation and a presentation by Rev. Leroy Anenson, designer of
the flag. A bit of history was relived, for it was in 1980 that the then Kenmore
Chamber of Commerce adopted the flag for the community. The flag will include
the new city logo.
