In Pedersen's book from 1980 there are several air force flags with roundels. All have the same pattern; light blue, the national flag in the canton, the air force roundel in the fly.

According to Album 2000 the aircraft marking is red-white-black roundel with a green segment. Since 1969, of course.

According to Military Aircraft Insignia, 1998, the 1956 - 1969 aircraft marking was blue-yellow-green roundel. Square national tricolour of the period was used as the fin flash.by Dov Gutterman, 10 February 2000
The former national flag as 1:1 version was used as fin flash between 1956-1969. Since 1969 the national flag is used as fin flash.
