This club was founded 28 Oct 1851; Queen Beatrix is an honorary member.

Deutscher Ruder Verein in Amsterdam (German rowing club) - a white flag with a blue saltire; in the center a red disk with intertwined white letters "DRV". In 1941 we had a lot of friendly encounters with our Eastern neighbours...
