Heinenoord former municipality

Heinenoord is a former municipality in Zuid-Holland, since 1984 part of Binnenmaas. It had (1968) 2.500 inhabitants along the "Oude Maas" in the "Hoeksche Waard", east of Oud-Beijerland, with the settlements Heinenoord (seat), Blaaksedijk, Goidschalxoord, Kuipersveer and Reedijk.
Its old name was "'t Land Van Wale".
Flag: blue with in the center a yellow cornsheef of 3/4 flagheight and over all in the center a horizontal white stripe with 1/4 flagheight; in the center of the white stripe a black, turned five-popinted spur-rowel with a height of 3/5 stripeheight.
Adopted 7 Apr 1976 - it is identical to the former municipal arms.

I've used the CoA on Ralf Hartemink's site.
BTW - Heinenoord is very popular with car-owners as the Heinenoord tunnel is one of the most congested traffic-spots in the Netherlands.
