Description

Local Council Hatzrot Yasaf is quite a new settlement and does not yet appear in the Local Governments website. It was originaly founded as a temporary settlement for the immigration wave from Ethiopia in the early 1990s. Somehow, this temporary settlement situated not far from the seashore between Akko and Nahariya became not so temporary and even became a Local Council in the mid-1990s. (...) The municipal emblem was published in the official gazette (Rashumot), 'Publications Gazette' section (Yalkut ha'Pirsumim), YP 4386, 20 Febuary 1996.

Local Council of Hatzrot Yasaf, which was supposed to be temporary, is almost deserted now. The Local Council is dissolved and the remains of this settlement are part of Regional Council Matte Asher. This took place in the late 1990s.

Since 20 January 2004, Hatzrot Yasaf does not exist anymore as the last temporary house has been removed and the site is now closed.
