Koprivnicki Ivanec is a community just two kilometers due north of Koprivnica with some 2600 inhabitants. The CoA and the flag are described in the statutes of 2001 issued in the official gazette (avilable on <>):  Statut Opcine Koprivnicki Ivanec, 10. listopada 2001. Službeni glasnik Koprivnicko-križevacke županije, br. 12/01, god. IX, Koprivnica, 11. listopada 2001. They must have been adopted somewhat earlier, say about 1997.
The coat of arms of Koprivnicki Ivanec is Argent five Flames Gules. The flag is blue with the coat of arms bordered yellow in the middle. The five flames are said to represent five villages comprising the Community, and symbol of the Midsumernight's bonfires (Midsummerday being celebrated with bonfires as the day of St. John, i.e. Ivan).

On the exhibition in Koprivnica in April 2003, no symbols of Koprivnicki Ivanec was shown (so also none in [ern03]) and the community is listed among the 10 communities of the County that still have no symbols. I interpret this in the way that the symbols are adopted (as indicated by the Statutes) but not yet approved by the Ministry (as the main criteria of [ern03] was approval from the Ministry).
