The Ministry approved the design on 25 February 1997. It was
designed by Draenka Jalic Ernecic, art historian from
Koprivnica and author of some other CoA's in
Koprivnica-Krievci County.
The scallop is called locally Peter's Ear and insite of the name
it is an attribute of St. Roch (Sv. Rok, probbaly most well know
after Italian version St. Rocco), the patron of the community.
The mounts in base cant the name Bregi (literally meaning
'hills').
