The community of Pribislavec was formed in 2001 secedeing from
the city of Cakovec. It is situated
due northeast of Cakovec, being virtually its suburb, and it has
about 2,700 inhabitants in Pribislavec and probably few hundereds
more in surrounding villages. The local newspapers at <www.mnovine.hr> describe the
coat of armsin three articles: "Udruge i organizacije dobile
svoje prostore", Medimurske novine, br. 369, 02.10.2002.
"Natjecaj za izbor idejnog rjeenja grba i zastave
Opcine Pribislavec", Medimurske novine, br. 376, 20.11.2002.
"Pribislavec dobio grb i zastavu", Medimurske novine,
br. 390, 26.02.2003. The designer is a local artist Danijel
Hampamer.
The coat of arms of Probislavec adopted on 22 February 2003 is
azure three tulips gules slipped and leaved vert issuant from
base all gorged together with a crown or of nine perls argent.
There is a flag, for sure, but I have as yet no info on the
layout.

Recently I was contacted by Daniel Hampamer, the designer of
the symbols of Pribislavec, who provided me a bit more detailed
image of the Coat of Arms and the info on the flag. The flag is
red with the coat of arms in the middle. Daniel Hampamer is also
the designer of the coat of arms and the flag of an other
community in the vicinity, namely that of Mala
Subotica.

In the decision: Odluka o zastavi Opcine Pribislavec, 9. 4.
2004. Slubeni glasnik Medimurske upanije, br. 03/04
at <glasnik.zupanija-medjimurska.hr>,
the flag is described as well as the ceremonial flag. By the
description, the ceremonial flag would be very much like the one
of Dekanovec. Apparently, the flag
was formaly adopted over a year after the Coat of Arms (ie. 9
April 2004).
