Presentation of Société Finistérienne de Cabotage

The shipping company Société Finistérienne de Cabotage was created in 1976 by Compagnie Générale Maritime (the merging of Messageries Maritimes with Compagnie Générale Transatlantique) to take over the four ships of the bankrupted Bretam company.

Société Finistérienne de Cabotage operated the four small tankers Pointe de Lesven, Pointe du Van, Pointe du Roc'h and Pointe de Beuzec, named after capes of Finistère.
