History of Louis Carlini

The Corsican shipowner Louis Carlini set up an alliance with the Société Provençale d'Affrêtement et d'Armement in 1925.
In 1930, Louis Carlini, alone, operated MS La-Corse between Marseilles and Corsica. The ship was sunk in the basin of the harbour station of Marseilles in August 1944.

House flag of Louis Carlini

The house flag of Louis Carlini is white with three ascending thin diagonal blue, white and red stripes, a Moor's head in canton and the black letters LC [interlaced] & C in lower fly. The Moor's head recalls Carlini's Corsican origin.
