In DK Pocket Book this flag is shown with a much larger emblem
(nearly touching the edges of the flag), and the following
comments: "The flag of the President has a dark green field
with the coat of arms in the centre, crowned with a British lion.
It depicts palm tree, an indigenous frog and the sea. The
supporters are two sisserou parrots. The national motto is in
Creole - "Apres Bondie C'est la Ter", meaning
"After the good Lord (we love) the soil."

From Album 2000 [pay00] -
President of the Republic - Ratio is not given, the figure showes
flag aproximately (but longer then) 2:3. The Coat of Arms in the
middle is considerably larger then we have at above currently.
That would agree with other sources, as far as I am aware, this
image is here quite errorneous. On the other hand, Smith [smi82] has smaller Coat of Arms on
1:2 flag.
