2004 - "hoře" = sorrow; "hořejšek" = top, upper end - there
seems to be some canting, symbolizing "honor thy Mother-in-Law or else..."
("hořec" = gentian, but that doesn't seem to apply).

- Krty, Rakovnik district, Central Bohemian region - flag adopted 12 Mar
1992.
Krty is located west of Jesenice on the former Karlsbad road. The village
was set up during Slavic settlement of this area. It has a Slavic round
shape, and its name originates of the tribe chief called "Krt".
His people were called "Krts". Dominant in the village square is
the St. Vojtech church, originally built in baroque style in 1682 and re-built
in 1737. Currently it is undergoing a reconstruction. The original church
from 1295 burned down. Near the church entrance you can see two rock sculptures
from the 18th century - St. Vojtech and St. Prokop. The raliroad Rakovnik
- Becov passes through the village. It currently has 104 inhabitants. There
is a grocery store and a pub. Since 1989 the village has its own village
hall. Large forrests with many ponds and flooded mines start right next
to the village, and they are often used by tourists for recreation.

2003 - the green leaf is a "řeřichy" leaf (I guess a kind of waterlily);
the red items are red flowers.

- Zbečno, Rakovník district, Central Bohemian region - adopted 7 Oct 2003.
In medieval times the Czech princes had a court in Zbečno, near which
Břetislav II was heinously murdered by Lorek on 22 Dec 1100.
