Description of the flag

Sint-Gillis-Waas (17,000 inhabitants) is located in the arrondissement of Sint-Niklaas.

The flag is: Quartered Azure and Or, in I a turnip Argent and Vert. Proportions are 2:3.

The turnip is the Waasland beet.

The flag was adopted on 1 October 1991.
