Description of the flag

Overpelt is located in the arrondissement of Maaseik.

The flag is: Or, three fesses Gules. In the center, placed vertically one in each fess Or, the letters "PELT" Sable. Proportions are 2:3.

The flag was adopted on 2 February 1982.
