Description of the flag

Kapelle-op-den-Bos (9,000 inhabitants) is located in the arrondissement of Halle-Vilvoorde.

The flag is: Azure, a pale Or, in escutcheon Sable, a lion rampant Or, tongued and armed Gules. Proportions are 2:3 and 1:2:1. The lion is the Brabant lion.

The flag was adopted on 1 March 1988.
