Description of the flag

Geetbets (6,000 inhabitants) is located in the arrondissement of Leuven.

The flag is: Party per fess wavy, Vert, Argent and Gules. Proportions are 2:3 and approximately 7:4:9. The fesses have two waves. The bend is for the Geete river.

The flag was introduced on 26 May 1987.
