National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) flag

The National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) of South Africa is modeled on the British RNLI and has a white flag with an orange cross. In the four quarters in which the letters N S R I appear in blue.
The institute's website is here.

I believe that the white squares should have a royal blue border (same colour as the lettering)
As proof I am attaching their logo.
Franc Van Diest, 25 Jan 2002

The flag of the National Sea Rescue Institute of South Africa does not have a blue border. The flag is described in SAVA Journal 1/92 [brl92] as:
Argent, a cross Tenne, each quarter respectively charged with the letters N S R I, Azure.
The flag is registered with the South African Bureau of Heraldry under certificate no. 593 dated 16 June 1972.
