The Gonfalon

From the site of Ukrainian Heraldry:
"It was confirmed in October, 13th, 1995 by the decision of V village council session of XXII convocation. The square panel has two horizontal parts - white and green (a parity of their widthes equals to 7:2), on a white background are four green trees (two fur-trees and two pines), and from a staff, from the top and from free edges goes chess border from white and green rectangulars (the width of a rectangular is equal to 1/18, and length is equal to 1/9 of gonfalon dimension)."

From the site of Ukrainian Heraldry:
"It was confirmed in October, 13th, 1995 by the decision of V village council session of XXII convocation. Argent with vert base. Four vert trees - two pines, on the parties - fur-trees. The shield enframed by or cartouche and crowned by argent urban crown with three prongs. The authors are Yu.Savchuk and G.Mel'nyk.
It was restored on the basis of the 1796 city sign, that specified on generosity of local woods.

The Town

"The first mention was in a scrap of paper of prince Svidrigailo in 1431. The Magdeburg Right was given in 1578. Since 1648 it was a squadron town of the Bratslavs'kyi regiment."
