City of Cherkasy is an administrative centre of oblast.
Population - about 310,000 inhabitants. Flag, designed by
D.Narbut and M.Telizhenko, was adopted by City council on July
26, 1995. Flag is white, with the Coat of Arms in the middle and
red Ukrainian pattern. Ratio 1:2.
