The municipality of Laško, mostly known for its beer brewery, officially adopted its coat of arms and flag only in 1998, even if these symbols had been used long before that, and well known outside Laško, especially due to the beer caps.
The coat of arms and flag of Laško are prescribed by Decision Odlok o zastavi in grbu Občine Laško, adopted on 6 May 1998 and published in the official Slovene gazette Uradni list Republike Slovenije, 39, pp. 2906-8, 22 May 1998, with effect on 5 June 1998. The Decision in the official gazette does not show images.
The flag, which is always hoisted vertically, is a banner of the
municipal arms, with the name of the municipality
in base, written in Times New Roman font. The ratio of the flag is 74:180 (~2:5), with the top of the fleurs-de-lis being 54 units from the top of the and their bottom 51
units from the bottom of the flag.
In base of the flag is the inscription "Laško" in Times New Roman
font, in size of 13 units, distance from bottom 7.5 units, from both
sides 13 units. The whole flag is bordered with silver.
The colour specifications are given according to the scale used by the Cinkarna Celje factory:
The flags in use in Laško are slightly different from the direct reading of the Decision (or my interpretation of the Decision is not completely correct).

As shown on the municipal website, the coat of arms of Laško is:
Azure, three Bourbonic fleurs-de-lis argent.
The Decision gives precise measurements of the position of the fleurs-de-lis in the shield, as well as the shield proportions, 100:130. The centers of the fleur-de-lis are in the point of an isosceles triangle 49 units in base and 59 units of the two sides, the size of a fleur-de-lis is 44:58, distance from upper and lower edges is 9 units, and 4.2 from sides. The outline of the coat of arms is black, 1 unit wide.
