Swedish municipalities which have heraldic arms (which almost all of them have) also by default has a flag which is a square banner of those arms. The arms of Håbo are fairly new (from 1978), but the lamb of God is an old symbol of Håbo. The tinctures are the same as in the arms of the province of Upland. A banner with a cross like the one the lamb is holding can in Swedish be called "segerfana" (colour of victory), symbolizing the conquering or victorious Christ. The five edge flaps represent the five parishes in Håbo.
