The government ensign of the Solomon Islands is blue, national flag in the canton. Source: Smith 1975.

The state or government ensign is blue with the national flag in canton, following the British model. Smith 1982 clearly shows two different shades of blue — a dark one for the ensign field, like the blue used on the governor's flag next to it, and medium blue for the national flag.
