Description and usage of the flag

I have found some notes about a flag from imperial Russian era, related to Russian-American Company. This is the Russian-Finnish Whaling Company (I must check the original name), located in the Grand-duchy of Finland, part of the Russian empire 1809-1917. The flag is similar to the American Company flag, except the white ribbon the eagle is holding was blank (no writing). The Whaling company excisted in 1850’s and operated two ships: Turku (an important harbour town and old capital) and Suomi (Finland in finnish). The company was first quite succesful, but the came the Crimean war, and they had to stop.
