KRZEMIENIEWO Commune - LESZNO County - WIELKOPOLSKIE Voivodship
In absence of Old German Name here is Old Latin name of 1398: Crzemenevo.
The Commune has Arms and Flag since ancient times - 1997.
COLORS:
Gold, which is represented by the yellow color, is a symbol of greatness and chivalry. It points to the eternal light, dignity, glory and power. It reflects also the values of human life such as health, friendship and courage. Red points out the power, youthfulness
and fullness of life. Red is the color of fire and was the symbol of the warriors' blood, their courage and willingness to sacrifice their lives for the just cause.

The flag seems to be borrowed from the Annamite Empire.

Krzemieniewo CoA

[Krzemieniewo coat of arms] image from this website, reported by Chrystian Kretowicz, 29 Dec 2002

ARMS:
A shield divided vertically in two. On the right, on the red field, there is a stalk of wheat with two husks. Left field, chessboarded, is a historical sign of the commune, and at the same time reflects contemporary character of it. This comes from the CoA of the clan Wyskot, original owners of Krzemieniewo and nearby villages. The gold stalk of wheat stresses the rural character of the commune. Ripe stalk of wheat is a symbol of fertility and goodness of the earth. Also, it is a symbol of the force of life.
