Pomorskie vojvodship coa since September 2001: black griph on yellow
shield, like on pl)pm.gif
O. Myszor, 20 Nov 2001
Pomorskie vojvodship has an official coat of arms since September 2001.
It is similar to the little yellow shield (without a crown) with black
griph, as on your coat of arms (this coat was only a proposition). Black
griph is a symbol of Cassubia and Pomorskie coat is similar to Cassubian.
There aren't any vojvodship flag, but I heard, that it was proposition:
yellow 2:3 flag with black griph (like this on coa). Griph was in center,
about 50% of height.

In today local TV news there was an information about Pommeranian voyevodship
CoA (black griph on yellow background; this project was accepted by Sejmik
Wojewodzki (local parliament) in September 2001). Few days ago Komisja
Heraldyczna (Heraldical Commission) rejected this project (It wasn't said
why; probably because it is only a symbol of Cassubia, not all of
Pomerania). Sejmik changed this CoA slightly and ratifyed it as official
CoA.
