German Minority in Warmia-Mazury
by Chrystian Kretowicz, 7 May 2002
This is the official emblem of the organization of the German Minority
in Warmia-Mazury in Poland. The emblem is clearly based on old arms of
the city of Allenstein/Olsztyn.The name of the organization is:Deutsche
Minderheit in Ermland und Masuren or Niemiecka Mniejszosc Narodowa na Warmii
i Mazurach. They also have an unofficial flag - horizontal bicolor of light
blue over black with the emblem in the center.

Pomerania
Pascal Vagnat sent me this
link.
The page is entitled: "Herby i flagi na Pomorzu", what I tentatively
translate as "Arms and flags of Pomerania".
The first section is a chronological presentation of the arms used
in Pomerania (incl. Dantzig and Kachoubia).
The second section is entitled "Chorongwie i flagi na Pomorzu",
and is a chronology of the flags used in Pomerania.
There are several images and a detailed text, unfortunately in Polish
version only.
