According to "Wie, Wat, Waar? 1940", an annual published by the
Rotterdamsch Nieuwsblad in Nov. 1939, the flag of Hillegom was:
three horizontal stripes red - yellow - green, with in the center of
yellow the municipal arms, with red and yellow reversed.
