Amersfoort municipality
Amersfoort is the second city in Utrecht province, and the 17th city in
the Netherlands (ranked by inhabitants) - 126.000 in Amersfoort. The flag
of Amersfoort was adopted by municipal resolution of 28 Apr 1959. The design
was by the architect D. Zuiderhoek. The colors and the cross are derived
from the municipal CoA.
