Dreumel former municipality

Dreumel is a former municipality in Gelderland province, south of Tiel in the Land of Maas and Waal. In 1984 it was dissolved; part went to Heerewaarden, which became Maasdriel in 1999. The main part went to Wamel, which was renamed West Maas en Waal in 1985.
Flag: Yellow, with at the separation of hoist and fly (= 1/3 flaglength) a red doubleheaded eagle, armed blue.
The eagle is after the Koffie Hag album
The flag is identical to the municipal arms and was adopted 27 Aug 1976 after advice by the Stichting Banistiek en Heraldiek in Muiderberg. The eagle is of 4/5 flagheight.

Arms: or a double eagle gules armed azure.
Until 1816 Dreumel had no coat of arms. This is the arms of the family Van den Poll.
