Wijnjewoude (Frisian: Wynjewâld) is a village in Opsterland municipality, a merger of the former villages of Duurswoude and Wijnjeterp in 1974. Its flag and CoA are at this webpage.

Description: The red stripes symbolize the fields of heather, while the yellow stripe points at the long stretch the village forms. The yellow hoist part symbolizes sandy soil and the blue the canals Ouddiep and Opsterlandse Compagnonsvaart. The white clover is the symbol of farming.
