Piaam is a village in Wûnseradiel municipality in the province of Fryslân.
Flag: per yellow flydiagonal blue over green; at the hoist the narrowed municipal flag.

Arms: Azure six ducks argent beaked or, placed 3,2,1
The ducks represent the duck-cages here. They are now very important for birdwatchers to study the migration of birds.
Piaam is a small village with less than 100 inhabitants. They live off agriculture in the north and southwest, and cattlebreeding in the south along the former Parregaaster Lake. There were two duck cages, one is used for ringing birds. In the 19th century birds caught were sold to Holland.
