The emblem of the Mauritius’ president is available at:
http://ncb.intnet.mu/govt/house.htm.
However, the initials "RM" are red, not golden, as they were reported
earlier.

According to one of latest issues of Vexilologie
[vex], the flag of the president of the
Republic of Mauritius is white with the arms,
under it there are two golden laurel (?) branches; between the arms and
the branches, golden initials "RM".
Jan Zrzavy, 06 Oct 2002
That flag is shown on Album des Pavillons
[pay00] (with proportion 14:25)
but marked «unconfirmed».
Ivan Sache, 06 Oct 2002
It is reasonably confirmed: The presidential flag has been adopted on 12 March 1992 (when Mauritius became republic) and is depicted on 10-rupee stamp issued in 1992. Vexilologie [vex] 121: 2264 refers two sources:
Primary source is the stamp, Album des Pavillons information
comes from that, and to the best of my knowledge the actual flag has not
been seen; so I suggest to keep it as «unconfirmed».

In Vexilla Nostra [vxn] 187
(july-august 1993) an enlarged photocopy of a stamp is shown. This stamp is
white with the arms, the initials RM and two
branches, and apart from that the texts «The President’s
Flag», «Proclamation 12 march 1992», the value of the stamp
«Rs10» and the name «Republic of Mauritius».
This could be evidence, but we also know that there are many stamps with
flag errors. Especially issued by those countries who have their stamps
designed and/or printed abroad.

Car pennant of the Commissioner of Police (Head of Armed Forces);
I have taken the photograph a few weeks ago during my visit.
