The World Macedonian Congress is a non-government organization, founded on 8 August 1993, whose main task is to unite all Macedonians from all parts of Macedonia and from other countries in the world.

The World Macedonian Congress adopted its flag and coat of arms in 1998. The flag is based on the former "Sun of Vergina" Macedonian national flag or a proposal designed in 1992.
