According to Barraclough and Crampton 1981, the only flag in Lebanon apart from the national flag is the jack.

I went personally to Beirut a few years ago and had a look on Lebanese Navy ships: they fly the normal national flag as ensign and as jack.

Based on Pedersen 1971, I must agree with Santiago Dotor. At least in the 70's, Lebanon had a separate jack. Pedersen shows it with rounded anchors with smaller points and black lines separating the anchor portions from the national (square) and, of course, the older tree with the brown trunk. But otherwise it is the same as Santiago Dotor presented.
Michael P. Smuda, 11 May 1999
Pedersen 1971 says about the Lebanese jack, "Introduced before 1954".
