Tokyo Tanker K.K. was formed 1951 as a joint
venture by Caltex Oil and Nihon Sekiyu K.K. becoming a full subsidiary of the
latter at a later date, and in due course of Nisseki-Mitsubishi. The black
lettering is edged white from the red star.
