Okawa / 大川市

[Okawa city flag] image by Olivier Touzeau, 9 October 2005

From the Okawa city website:

Municipal Flag

The design was decided in 1979 through a public vote. The background color is a brilliant light blue, which symbolizes water and a clear sky. The city symbol and city tree "paulownia" are arranged in white in the center of the flag. This symbolizes the vital and fresh city, Okawa.
