Stylized two ancient kanji Taka 高 of Takasaki in diamond shape.

The emblem is as established in the 1920 city notice number 89 (in Japanese), dated 29 November.
The two ancient kanji taka 高
(tall/expensive) are arrangd as on top of each other, one up, one
down, to form a diamond.
