From Filcher (1984):
PRINCIPALITY OF VIJAYNAGAR
Princely States of Bombay Presidency, Mahi Kantha Agency, Present-day Gujarat
(no gun salute)
Area: 350 sq. km
Acceded to the Union of India on June 10, 1948. Last remnant of the powerful medieval Hindu Dravidian Empire of Vijayanagar (ruled all over Southern India).
"The Princely flag of Vijaynagar is rectangular, saffron in color, with the white oval in the center containing the Arms of the sovereign and the name of the state (in English), all in saffron color. The state flag of the Principality is the "Panchranga" of the Rajputs and is composed of five horizontal bands in colors (from the top); red, yellow, white, green and sky-blue."
