Regional Council Merom ha'Gallile is situated between Western Galilee and Upper Galilee at the highest area of the Galilee mounts, in the area of Zefat. The city hall is at Granot ha'Gallile near Meron. Founded in 1950, pop. 10,000.
During my visit I spotted the unofficial flag as a white flag with black emblem and no inscription. The municipal emblem was published in the official gazette (Rashumot, Yalkut ha-Pirsumim), YP 631, 30 October 1958, from where I took the image for the above GIF.
