Description

Regional Council Hof Ha'Sharon (meaning the Sharon beach / shore) is situated on the coastline in the Sharon area between Netanya and Herzliya. The local authority is in Kibbutz Shfayim. It was established in 1949 and has 7,000 inh. in 12 settlements. The unofficial flag is the logo (furrows and waves) on white. Sources: author's observation, 29 August 2001, and this website.

The current emblem is unofficial. The official municipal emblem, not in use, was published in the official gazette (Rashumot), YP 633, 13 November 1958.

Dov Gutterman, 4 September 2001

I received a good image of the emblem in a letter with a desk flag from Mrs. Miriam Osovski, Regional Council, 24 September 2001.
