Description

Local Council Yarqa is a Druze village in the Western Galilee, NE of Akko (Acre). A Local Council from 1959, with 10,500 inh. In my visit there were only the national and Druze flags at the city hall. I was informed that an emblem on monochrome is used when needed. I made two basic designs, one with the coloured emblem and the other with an outlined emblem.

The municipal emblem was published in the official gazette (Rashumot), 'Publications Gazette' section (Yalkut ha'Pirsumim), YP 1554, 25 September 1969.
