Description

Local Council Shibli is situated on the NE slops of Mount Tavor (Tabor) in the Lower Galilee. The Local Council also serves another Bedouin village in the area (Umm el-Ghanem, SE of Mount Tavor) and has 3,000 inh., all Bedouins. The information that I obtained is that the flag is white with emblem (blue or multicoloured or both). This information needs further confirmation so the flag is only probable. The municipal emblem was published in the official gazette (Rashumot), 'Publications Gazette' section (Yalkut ha'Pirsumim), YP 3910, 8 August 1991.
