Local Council Pardesiya (meaning God's citrus plant) is situated in the Sharon region, 3 km south of the Sharon crossroads and 5 km east of Netanya. It was founded in 1940 and has 5,000 inh.
When I visited it, the city hall was under construction with no flags and no-one to ask about the municipal emblem. In the entrance to the Local Council there were two flags, one blue with a white emblem and another one orange with a black emblem. The municipal emblem was published in the official gazette (Rashumot, Yalkut ha-Pirsumim), YP 1900, 8 March 1973.
