Local Council Netivot is situated in the NW Negev, on the Be'er Sheva-Ashqelon road. Est. 1956, has 19,000 inh. The flag has been reported as an emblem on various colours but needs confirmation. The municipal emblem was published in the official gazette (Rashumot), 'Publications Gazette' section (Yalkut ha'Pirsumim), YP 963, 27 September 1962.
