Description

Local Council Fasuta is situated in the Upper Galilee, 4 km NE of Ma'alot and 2 km south of the Lebanese border. A Local Council from 1965 with 2,500 inh., all Christians. Mistakenly overlooked in my tours, I had to rely on second hand information about the unofficial flag being white with emblem (colour not specified). The flag is thus probable pending confirmation. The municipal emblem was published in the official gazette (Rashumot), 'Publications Gazette' section (Yalkut ha'Pirsumim), YP 1499, 16 January 1969.
