Description

Local Council Bueina Nujidat is situated on the northern slopes of Mount Tur'an, in SE Bet Netofa Valley. A Local Council from 1987 with 5,800 inh, all Muslims. In my visit I spotted a white flag with emblem, but was unable to tell out the colour of the emblem due to wind conditions. The municipal emblem has not been published in the official gazette (Rashumot) and is thus unofficial. Source: author's own observation, 11 October 2001.
