While recently in Wexford, south-east Ireland I saw a local flag. The shape
is a normal rectangle, divided horizontally into three equal parts (colours,
purple, yellow/gold, purple - based on the county colours) in the centre is the
town's coat of arms (see:
http://www.ngw.nl/int/ier/counties/wexford.htm). I remember the words 'Loch
Garman' (Irish for Wexford) in black, in an arc below in the purple stripe. I'm
not sure if it's a county or just a town flag. It was displayed outside pubs,
hotels and so forth, though it was not that prevalent.
