there is the Res. No. 9/1991.(IX.1.) of the town about the flag
of the town. This resolution was modified in 2000 by Res. No.
21/2000.(IX.29.). The town has got vertical flag too.

This flag appears at Dr. Széll Sándor: Városaink neve,
címere és lobogója (1941) as "Mosonmagyaróvár,
Győr, Moson and Pozsony Co.".
