For a small community of some 4,400 inhabitants (1993) some 30
km east of Varaždin, about 3 km due north of Ludbreg, Sveti
Đurđ (Sv. Djurdj) one may almost guess the symbols. The county
web site <www.varazdinska-zupanija.hr>
does not show the Coat of Arms nor the flag, but the statutes in
the official gazette available at <www.glasila.hr> describes
them: Statut Opcine Sveti Đurđ, 5.10.2001, Službeni vjesnik
Varaždniske županije, br. 20/01. The coat of arms showes the
saint parton, St. George on a horse slaying the dragon. The flag
is light blue with the coat of arms in the middle.

Sveti Đurđ (Djurdj) is a community in Varaždin County with
some 4,500 inhabtiants. The name, as you may clearly recognize
means St. George, and the Coat of Arms is yet an other Coat of
Arms showing the famous pose, this time in a blue shield.
The flag is blue with the coat of arms in the middle.
