Breznički Hum is a community in the souther end of the
Varaždin County, on the main road leading from Zagreb to
Varaždin (or if you preffer on the road Rijeka-
Zagreb-Budapest-Minsk). The population is about 1,700. In the
1992 regulation the name of the community is given as Hum
Breznički, but in 1997 it was reversed. The ceremonial flag
is shown on the web site of a flag manufacturer Valentino from
Beletinec (not far from Hum) at <www.zastave.com> from which
the Coat of Arms and the "normal" flag may be concluded
with reasonable certainity. The Coat of Arms
of Breznički Hum is azure a water pump argent and a post horn or
in chief. I think that the posthorn may refer to the
importance of the place for trafic. The flag is blue with the
golden bordered coat of arms in the middle. The Ceremonial
Flag is a blue gonflaon with three trinagularly ending tails
and with golden fring along bottom, the coat of arms in the
middle, the name of the community above in two arches and linden
branches ornament below in the tails.
